System Script Host 2.3
|
|
Product Information
System Script Host (SSH) is a language-independent scripting host for
Windows NT/2000/XP/2003. It provides an environment for executing
scripts written in script languages supported by installed ActiveX
script engines like VBScript, JScript, PerlScript, etc. Scripts execute
like Windows NT services: in the background and unattended. The SSH
run-time environment allows script programmers to implement system
management and system monitoring applications with great ease and almost
unlimited flexibility. The current version supports monitoring of the
following event sources:
|
|
- Performance Data
- Services
- File System
|
- SNMP Traps
- Syslog
- Registry
|
Other features worthy of mention are:
- The administrator UI is implemented as an
MMC snap-in that supports remote administration
- SSH can be programmatically managed using Windows Management
Instrumentation (WMI) or by the provided SSH Manager
Automation Objects.
- The set of all scripts on a computer may be partitioned into more
than one application, providing process isolation in case of runtime
errors
- Every SSH application can be run in a different user account
- Exposed performance counters allow for monitoring runtime
parameters
- Support for script debugging
- Support for Inter-Script-Communication:
- Between scripts of the same SSH application
- Between scripts of different SSH applications which may be
distributed across the network
Supported OS: Windows NT/2000/XP/2003
Software Type: Trialware (90 days)
